ESSOR program: the current framework ends March 31, 2027

The ESSOR program's 2025-2027 framework, which funds up to 50% of an SME digital project, ends on March 31, 2027. What you need to know to take advantage of it.

The 2025-2027 framework of the ESSOR program, administered by Investissement Québec, ends on March 31, 2027. Applications must be authorized by that date at the latest, and intake may be suspended earlier if the budget envelope runs out.

What the digital component funds

For businesses with 250 employees or fewer and revenue of at least $2.5 million:

  • component 1B: digital assessment, digital plan, implementation plan and system selection, funded at 50%, up to $20,000;
  • component 1C: implementation of the digital plan, funded at 50%, up to $50,000, provided the application is filed within 24 months of the plan completed under component 1B.

Expenses incurred before the application is filed aren't eligible, and some sectors are prioritized. Criteria can change, so always confirm your eligibility with Investissement Québec.
